DanOn app good for
Just downloaded the app. Hope to use it often. Already used the coupons before. But just started to earn points.
I like that it keeps track of (and hopefully omits from recipes) foods that Im either allergic to or just dont like. Time will tell.
Some bad moments
WTF is this? What a waste of time and money to make it. Get a real life. I like your Activia probiotic products, and I just want to get some coupons to reduce the high price of the grocery stores.
Nothing but trouble using this app and the associated website.
In app, QR codes dont scan reliably. If they do scan, the acknowledgement message is vague. The logon information is not remembered (for me).
On website, entering codes often takes repeated attempts and there is no automatic conversion of lowercase alphas to uppercase (something that wouldve taken their developers all of 2 seconds to incorporate). After entering a code successfully you get a really lame acknowledgement (in my case, "scan mission not found") and the points total only updates if you manually refresh the webpage (press the F5 function key).
Id say that the whole rewards programme has been under-conceptualized and that they cheaped out on the implementation, using 2nd rate developers.
I communicated with their support people; they are in denial of the issues.
At the store. Download the app. Select the coupon. Now email to yourself. Now go home and print it off your desktop. Really? Use the mobile app to email yourself and coupon to print on paper. Nice.
The coupons are not available to be redeemed on the app directly. Must print and use in store... What a waste of paper and sort of defeats the purpose of a mobile app in the coupon sense.
Also, no way to change the setting language to EN/FR by preference.
My box of DanOne yogurt drinks states I can save $50 per year. Im intrigued since we buy a lot of these drinks for my kids. The box says go to the website which then leads me to download the app since the website tells me absolutely nothing about saving this money. I download the app but that tells me nothing. Then I register and still nothing. I see I can earn points but have gone through the app several times and there is nowhere I can scan my barcode. Such a waste of my time. Misleading. Terrible app. I dont need help planning meals and I dont want recipes. I want to save money and thats all I wanted to do.
I got a "welcome coupon" which is deceiving because I had to download an app give my personal info, and I still didnt get my coupon. Then the app wanted to provide me with a whole bunch of recipes but I only wanted to save some $$$ not worth my time jumping through hoops. Disappointment!
